97 speedster bilage pump on constantly

Hi All,
Looking for resolve. Bilage blew 3amp fuse on fuse block, pump was in bad shape replaced it worked fine. Then started running with switch off , my automatic switch had its own wires so i disconnected them. Pump still ran , went to the switch on dash disconnected it still ran unless i pull the fuse the plug ( black and brown wires) is still constantly on not sure where to go next??

How long did you let the pump run? The pump will automatically kick on for about 20 seconds when power is applied, like changing the battery or replacing a fuse. I have three '96 Challengers, and they all do the same thing.

Not a hundred percent on the time it ran but it might of been close to the 20 seconds

Follow up.. pump still runs after 30 sec. 12 volts at 3amp fuse no volts on dash switch wires with or without
Switch connected. auto sensor disconnected, but pump runs constant if I plug it in??? No wiring was changed worked fine before?? Makes no sense to me? Any ideas??
