well just as the title says I cannot get this boat to run right. Both engines at as if they are losing fuel yet I have tried a gravity fuel feed and still they shut off. I have change the spark plugs I have checked the spark I've checked to make sure that is getting fuel everything seems to be in order yet they still will not stay running. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Welcome to the forums. A couple of questions:
1. Do you have gray fuel lines?
2. Have you performed a compression test?

I will check the fuel lines and compression in the morning. Just a question...why would the fuel lines have anything to do with my problem if I can't get it to stay running with a gravity fed fuel source. I thought about checking compression but it just started doing it, and both engines.... Low compression it just did sound like it would happen like that. It is killing!!!

I don't think the boats ever used the Grey Tempo Fuel lines.

Compression issue in both engines is likely not the issue.

Carbs or electrical issue is probably your concern.

I have some gray lines interconnecting the carbs in my boat.

I appreciate all the feed back. First off i know that the fuel systems on the boat are not gravity fed, I was tell you all on here that I hooked up the boat to a gravity fed system to bypass the boat fuel system so as to check and make sure it was not a fueling issue. Yet it still will not run it just shuts of. So, it can't be the fuel lines, or the fuel fiter, or the fuel pump. Seeing as how even when I bypassed all of those things and still have the same problem. I am thinking electrical....but not sure how or what.

Ok. Let's slow down and figure this out.

Are both engines acting exactly the same?

If so, we have to think it is a common issue.

Grab a different battery just for the hell of it. I have seen some with internal shorts and they operate at 11 volts for example. At 10.5 volts the MPEMs fail to work.

Do you have a single MPEM? If so, that could be the cause. I think some boats have two and some have one.

With your gravity feed make sure you have oil in the mix to protect the engine.

Were these running ok before? Did you do anything and then they stopped or just on their own?

Rectifiers cause weird issues when they fail. If one failed before it would still run and charge until the other failed.

Let us know,,,

I don't see how the gravity fed fuel system eliminates fuel system problems. You're not bypassing the fuel pumps or the carbs., the fuel pumps will still have to function and if the carb. filters are clogged they will still be clogged, as well as carb. passages and jets.

Ok, let me try and answer all the questions.
First carbs have been gone thru, no plugs all jets clean. So, fuel system checked (gravity feed) still shuts off.
Yes, it just started doing it, "BOTH" engines at the same time. No, buzzers no beeps
As for as the MPEM, not sure if it's single or dual
I will, try the battery thing...I should have tried this awhile ago, I had a Yamaha that I had all kinds of weird issues with til I put a new battery n it
Once again thank you all for your in put, it is all very much appreciated!

It's got to be something that affects BOTH engines then. So I'd look for something common.

I'm not familiar with your boat, but how is the fuel supplied to each carb? Perhaps there is a leak in the fuel supply hose at the tank? Plugged up fuel pick up?

Will either engine run on its own?
