Anyone know where and how many voltage regulators are on a 97 speedster. I thought there may be more than one because it has two engines.

I would look in the elect box in motor compartment. Look for 1 in square w/ 2 yellows and 1 red wires from it, might have clear/yellow jelly look'n face to it

Ok, I'll check it out, I think mine blew out, batteries going dead and when the motor (I say motor cause that is all that is running now, one) is running the battery is still only reading 12 volts, not 14.

It could also be the stator. i have had one go bad on me and it sounded like a fairly common problem. you can check it by testing the resistance of the 3 yellow wires comming from the rectifier, disconnect first, If you get an open circut it is bad. An owners manual will help you diagnose the problem.
