97 Sea-Doo Challenger 1800 fuel tank capacity

How many gallons does my boat take? I thought it was 40 I was on reserve and I was only able to get 25 gallons in it.. now I'm thinking it's a 30-gallon tank and have been mixing the premix wrong way to Rich.

It is 40, I don't quite understand what you mean about too much oil.

I hope you aren’t just dumping oil into the tank. It won’t mix correctly.

Correct I mix 1 quart in my race jugs per 10 gallons..so a gallon for 40 gallons of gas. My Reserve must be coming on around 10 gallons when it starts to beep.

It's not as bad now that I get Mistik 2-cycle full synthetic for $21 a gallon

That's the right ratio so you're good there, now why are you on the premix train?

I believe our fuel baffles have a extension clipped onto the end and the circuit board doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the tank so it reads empty early
