97 GTX hard starting

I'm having a problem starting my 97 gtx. Just replaced the plugs and battery, it started and ran fine for about an hour. WE shut it off for 30 mins and it would not start!! I held the choke open to no avail,tried holding the throttle open and finally started then ran real rough like it was missing.Can someone help me diagnose the problem?? Thx in advance

hey...i'd start with the fuel system, if grey lines, replace them, then inspect the inline filter, clean out the fuel selector valve, finally go thru the carbs. theres an internal filter/s inside(one for each carb), dont forget these. If diaphram looks distorded/wavey, need new one/s or rebuild kit....:cheers:
