Hello to all

Started the gray fuel line replacement process. I was going to remove and clean the selector valve assy. Is this accomplished by removing the phillips screw under the black plug on the selector knob? I have tried this but it seems really tight while turning.
Also, i hadnt planned on doing a full carb re-build, just all the filters and lines, do the carbs need to be removed to access the filters? Are there gaskets between the carbs and block?
Thanks fellas,
Slim

Hey slim. Looks like on yours you pop the little black plug out of the top of the knob, remove the Phillips screw out of the middle of the selector knob. Under that there is a plastic hex nut that should be removed and you should be able to push the selector valve through to the inside of the hull.

The small filters are inside of the carbs. You can get to these but you need to take the carbs out of the hull. There are gaskets where the carbs attach to the engine so be careful and do not tear them so they can be reused. When taking the carbs apart, be extremely careful and do not tear the diaphragms and gasket inside them or you'll have to get a rebuild get to replace them.

It is just that simple. Just don't forget where to put the lines when you are done. I don't think it can be cleaned. It is cheap at any Sea Doo parts place. Look on Seadoowarehouse.
