97 GTX bigger pump

I have a 97 GTX and was wondering if it is possible to put a bigger pump on it? I don't know if I'll have to change the shoe but is it possible to make it work? Also was thinking of putting a 951 in it if possible too. Thanks for the help

I like the saying, never say never. it can be done but how easy i dont know but anything is possible though. whats your reason for the change the pump and motor?

My main reasoning for wanting to change the pump out is to get a little more pull. I heard from a few people that the 98 GTX RFI pump is supposedly alot better. The motor was just a thought if i get bored over the winter.

What size pumps do these have now and what size is the 98? What would a bigger hub help out doing? Isn't it over all less blade height?
