I am new to jet skis. Many years with 2 stroke ATVs. Ski has been sitting in a garage for about 10 years. 2 stroke oil is shooting out of cylinder #1 spark plug hole. Is that for sure a crank seal since it is only one cylinder?

Yes, it is a crank seal but........

If it has been sitting that lone, especially with the wrong TCW-3 oil then it could be as simple as putting in the correct oil and getting it running.

Wow, I have the exact same issue, oil squirting out #1. Just purchased 96 gtx with 787, been sitting for a few years, ran well prior, 155 compression in #2. I too suspected crank seal. So, if I change out oil and put in correct, how long before I regain seal integrity (if this is issue)?

No way to know, it is jus a try and see thing before going all in on a new crank.

Could be crank seal could be bad oil pump check valve could be bad crank seal could be bad rotary valve seal and the pto cyl rotary valve is closed and oil just got into mag cyl.could be crankcase sealent let go on that side of the case where oil sits.could be alot of things going on.but like they said pump the oil out get it running clear out the oil and run it.it sat for a long time so anything can happen
