Hello all,
I've got a 97 GTS that I recently changed all fuel lines and did a carb rebuild. Even before doing this, sometimes after running a while and coming to idle, the ski would sometimes give a long beep and the stop switch would no longer kill engine unless I pulled the DESS lanyard. When starting back up, the engine would die after idling for more than 30-40 seconds without any throttle, other than that the ski runs perfect. I've noticed that it is sometimes doing this even after the new fuel lines and carb rebuild. Any thoughts?
