I have the 97 GTS 3 seater ... it runs great most of the time ... after a long weekend of riding it began to just die for no reason. Sometimes it will die wide open, sometimes pulling a tube, sometimes just above idle ...
After originally posting this I went back to the shop manual. I ran the advanced test on the machine using the start/stop sequence of 5 button pushes and then putting the dess key back on .. it started without giving any error codes so I assume the memp module is fine.
Dirty carbs wouldn't cause such problems would it? or the grey fuel lines?
