My ski runs great but after you run for several minutes at 3/4 to full throttle it gives a long alarm, this stops when you slow down or stop. There is plenty of fuel in it but the fuel gauge does not work. I have checked to make sure there is plenty of water coming out the (for the lack of a better name) pisser. The sensor on the head between the plugs was just replaced but it still gives this alarm. I was told it may be a baffel problem but was told this was a very costly repair. If this is the problem would it be ok to just disconnect the alarm.

If the "Tell Tail" is squirting water is the engine head and the exhaust cool to the touch? If so than it might be a bad sensor again. If it is hot and you really can't touch it than you have a cooling problem. If you disconnect the beeper and it over heats, you 'll never know it, and it will end up seizing.

like karl just said...next time alarm goes off, pull seat and see if motor is actually hot. maybe the sensor was changed because it was telling you the truth...

David, the sensor goes off at 200 to 210 degrees. If the engine is over heating it will seize real quick...and it will cost you around a $1000.00, give or take to repair it. Check it out real good. I bet you have a blockage.
Don't take a chance.
