Ive gone threw 3 carbone rings and a bunch of hose clamps in the past 2 years... Finally i put a new carbone ring on, and after running for no more than 30 sec the carbone ring is really hot.
i think it is set with too much tension between it and the stainless ring it rides against. loosen clamp on rear of piece of radiator hose and slide it back a tiny bit. (it isn't really rad hose, but it looks like it.)
