97 GSX 2 beeps But no start

I have a 97 GSX, When I put the key in I get 2 beeps But it wont turn over! No clicks, NOTHING! Any advice?

Start by testing the starter solenoid. With a volt meter or test light, see if there is power on the post that leads to the starter.

I forgot to mention, press the start button when doing this test. If it doesn't light, replace the solenoid.

You could also jump across the solenoid to see if the solenoid is bad. The jump wire bypasses the internals of the solenoid relay. Be sure the trigger wire to the solenoid is good too. Do a continuity test on the wire. It might have a bad trigger wire that comes from the start button. If it isn't getting a signal from the start button it won't trigger the solenoid relay.
