Okay I took apart the motor to find that I need all new crank seals. The problem I have is I can't find where to buy the inner seals for the crank. I went to my local dealer and they couldn't find them on the parts fiche. Anyone else have this problem before and know a solution? Thanks.

Yeah I checked. They list every part of the crank except for those seals and gear in the very center for the rotary shaft. Any other thoughts I really find it hard to believe you can't get those seals.

problem is, if you dont have/access to machinery, then you throw'n money away, if you dont have the equipment. Believe that, the "seadoo" factory crank is only rebuildable, after you've ground away the welded in "pins" hold'n the rods, so, youll have to do all that crap, then press everything off, just to get to it, then hopefully, align it all right. I could be off on this subject..

Well I am pretty sure the whole crank is pressed together and I have a buddy who can rebuild them no prob. I know someone who has taken apart a crank out a 580 with no problems I assume they are assembled the same...I hope

OEM cranks, new or rebuilt, are not welded.

Any good 2-stroke machinist can rebuild the crank. Even if the welds have to be ground and re-welded.
The inner seals are not available from BRP for your engine. However, you can order a complete set of 4 seals (inner & outer) from a Hot Products dealer.
