Hi I’m new here I have a 97 Challenger ran fine all last year but now it has a problem turning over it would not start had no spark was a bad coil replaced it then the starter went replaced it then today took it down to the water started right up ran for 15 sec then stalled tried to start it sounds like it stuck waited like 3 minuets truned over then stuck again any help I could get Would be greatly appreciated

Pull the spark plugs and see if it will turn over with out them. If so it could be your battery. I'd also throw a towel over the cylinder head in case any water or oil might shoot out.

I’ve done that there was oil in there but I think I’ve got it all out I don’t know how to

I would do that again, them immediately try and start it. This should all be done on land.

Ok I’ll try again I’m thinking it has oil in the bottom end it will start but for like 15 to 30 sec then it stalls and is hard to crank but if I let it sit it will turn over again
