97 Challenger 1800 battery reco

Hi all.

I need to replace the battery on my 97 Seadoo Challenger 1800 with twin 110 Rotex. I'm a rookie so I'm hoping someone can give me a reco on what I should be looking for when I buy the replacement battery. Will probably go to Canadian tire or Walmart to buy the battery. Any recos would be greatly appreciated.

Walmart batteries SUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Specs for the one currently in the boat are 1000 marine cranking amps and 115 reserve capacity minutes. Does that sound about right for the size of the boat?

In batteries you get what you pay for. ASM ones are better and sit longer with out charge them
