I took the boat out last week had both engines fire right up. Put the throttle half way and the left engine was at 4500 and the right wouldn't get past 3000The left engine was running completely fine. The right engine died and I couldn't get it started again. I had the left one under 10 mph for about 20 min to get to a spot we could anchor. The left cut out and couldn't get it started.

The boat was winterized, had new gas, and new oil. The carbs were redone last year. I'm changing the fuel filters now as well as the spark plugs even though they aren't bad at all. Any suggestions???? Thanks

Cut the plug wires 1/4in back from the boots, also. If plugs were fouled, put rag over spark holes, make sure no excessive oil is coming up...
