Hello all,
I have a 1997 Challenger (1800) that I just purchased, which is my first boat, and the owner stated the radio doesn't work. Well it's not the stock one, but left all the stock wiring / speakers. Well I found out the fuse was blown, soon as I replace it - it pops. The radio manual states it requires a 10amp fuse, but the stock one is only 3 amps. Can I safely put in a 10 amp fuse? Or should I run my own 12v line, and place in a in-line fuse.
As a side question, I have an ACCESSORY wire and an IGNITION wire. Am I able to jump both of these together, seeing as how the boat only has a 12v consent source?
Thanks!
