96 XP800 pump pickup tube

Hey all,

Have a 96 XP800, took the pump off but the water pickup tube(293700019) broke, I am going to make a new one at work. I can't wait 2 weeks for one to ship to Canada. I work in a machine shop. Does anyone know the thread size on the end? I left the part at home. Top of my head says its a 1/8NPT

You can get that pipe,at a diy place,,,don't need to make one.

ok, but what size is it? I still need to get the threaded end out of the pump today.

Man...i suck at threads,,,to get the broken piece out,,,i go in with a drill bit slightly bigger than the piece...then i take a thin screw driver to slowly tap pieces of the fitting inwards,,,eventually i am able to use needle nose pliers to unthread the broken piece,,,someone on here will know the npt size,,,but i know i bought it in the plumbing section,,,a 6 inch perfect length,
