96 XP Restoration

Hey Guys, I am starting the restoration of a 96 XP that I got in a package deal a couple of years ago. It was in pretty nice shape, but had a SBT motor put in it in 2003. At the time I got it, it ran but had low compression in the pto cylinder. I now have it completely stripped down to the hull and going through everything to see what parts I am going to need.

1. I am tearing down the motor now and I am wondering. Would you consider reusing the SBT crank, RV shaft and counter balance if they seem to be in good shape? Or would you go with something else?

If they are in good shape and smooth then run them but put in new outer seals.

Thanks for the advise. I am going to put new gaskets and seals in the whole motor. Now to source some cylinders and a new head.
