96 XP Problem!

I havent had it out since last summer, but towards the end of the summer it would start bogging or cutting out . Sometimes it would run great and others it would bog down. It did this sometimes while wide open and sometimes while trying to take off. I would start idleing and gas it and it would take off again for a few seconds then bog down again. I tried choking it a couple times and it would just die. I havent had it out since it got winterized and am planning on taking it in to get serviced next week. Any help would be appreciated!

sounds to me like its time for a carb rebuild.

Any idea on how much that is gunna run me? I'm kind of new to all this and when I take it in i dont really wanna get ripped off. Thanks

Carb rebuild kits can run about $60.00 each if my memory serves me correct from last sept., when I was pricing them.
