I have a 96 XP, all stock.
It was ran maybe 2 times last year. (remodeling house)
I recently drained the tank and put in fresh gas.
When I took it to the lake yesterday it ran fine for a few min then started to feel like it was lean on top end, rpm dropped just a little once it got full speed.
I then ran it about 70% throttle far a while but the bogging kept getting worse.
Then, I could only get about 25 mph out of it, If i tried to go faster it would feel like one cyl quit running. If I go WOT it feels like its rumming on 1 cyl for about 1 second then 2 cyls for about 1 sec then back to 1 cyl and so on.....
While cruising at 25 mph both cyls run full time but if hit a wake and the engine revs higher it will bog on 1 cyl for a sec then resume.
I changed the plugs, same result. I am thinking 1 carb is dirty and I need to clean them.
Any other suggestions?
