96 xp exhaust water regulator rave bellows assembly

I was replacing the rubber bellows in the water regulator or whatever it’s called.

When re-assembling the plastic post that the small side of the bellows goes onto, popped out of the bottom part of the assembly.


I don’t think I broke anything but I feel like there should be an o ring were I’m pointing with the screwdriver.

There’s no sign of there ever being one there and I can’t find a schematic to show me.
Should I put an o ring there or no?

I ended up finding the diagram. Looks like no o ring. Thanks anyway and I’ll leave this up incase it’s helpful for someone.
