96 SPX Steerinng Problem

I have a 96 SPX and it was running good but then all of a sudden when I got back on it the steering was really tight. I drove it for about 10 mins and it loosened up again and was fine for awhile but then as I was taking it in it tightened up againn. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Just check and make sure your steering cable is not messed up or pinched. I have the same model and the zip tie that holds it in place at the back of the ski broke and the cable hit the flywheel/propulsion shaft cutting it and making it stiffer to turn. I noticed when the cable shifted it would loosen up so this might be the same problem your having.
