Disconnect the steering cable/s, from underneath the storage compartment. Then turn wheel, see if its steering box and not a cable.
Try spray'n liquid wrench at box and each ends of steering cable/s.
This what i did, works perfect now...good luck
disconnected the cables, the steering wheel spins freely. tried tuggin on either steering cable and nothing, almost like there both frozen...soaked them in wd40...looks like the part where they connect to the jet nozzle is all rusted up. it looks like the guy i bought it from had it docked in salt water...reminance of barnacles all over the jet housings...any other way to loosen the cables up or am i gunna have to buy two new ones...thanks
Same prob my brother....got lucky though, kept twistn the steering nozzle, and finally broke free. Those cable/s arent cheap. I'd give, few more tries...wd-40, liquid wrench, throw anything at it..good luck
cables didnt loosen up..soaked them tugged them hit them with a hammer nothing....362.70 later steering works...seadoo is ridiculous with their pricing
