The bilge pump on my 96 speedster doesn't work at all. However, it appears that the previous owner replaced/messed with the bilge pump and didn't wire it correctly.

There are 2 wires coming from the bilge pump, the negative wire goes to one of the wires on the float switch and the positive goes to the other wire on the float switch. That is it... The system doesn't appear to be connected to any power source at all.

Could someone please post a picture of a stock speedster bilge system so I can see how/were the wires are supposed to hook up. I can't find the wires that hook up to the bilge switch so my only other option would be to hook the system straight to one of the batteries if I can't find the bilge switch wires.

Grab the manual. If you are premium member you ccn get them here or there are websites that them posted for free.

I see. However the wires just go from the switch to the fuse box. I can't see them going out anywhere to a bilge pump.

If someone could just post of picture of what the stock bilge system is supposed to be it would help tremendously.

It looks like everything is there it just isn't connected correctly

I just looked in the manual and I think you are missing something(s). The bilge pump and water detection circuit is spread out over 3 or 4 locations in the boat. It isn't as simple as "just post a picture", and it isn't a standard bilge pump wiring scheme either.
The diagram on page 30 of the 96 jet boats shop manual supplement shows exactly which wires (they are color coded) are for each section of the circuit, and where they are connected. Use the manual to find the wires at their connection points and you can trace them to see where they go astray. If they have been cut, then you can install new one's to replace them.
