I cant get my 96 seadoo xp to start. When I push start/stop button the lights on dash turn on but when i put my key on it wont crank over. I tested the solenoid and am not getting power to it. I checked the wires for bad connections but they are good.
When I push start/stop button 5 times I get one beep and the temp light flashes once. Not sure what that means.

*battery fully charged and all fuses checked multiple times*

I checked dess post and it was good. When I put key on post I dont get lights or beeps. It's like it doesnt register the key.

If you insert the key and the ski does not recognize it you will get one long beep. I'm sure you checked your fuses. I've done MPEM and CDI checks on these and it is still difficult to identify a bad one.

Do you have your ground wire from the rear electrical box connected to the battery? Won't do crap without that connected. Good Luck !

Have you tried cleaning the inside of your key with a pencil eraser? Sounds stupid but might just be gummed up. Hence the not recognizing, lights and beep. If that doesn't work I would look to replace the DESS post
