Hey guys :)

I have a problem with water leaking behind my VTS motor. When im riding it just starts leaking like a good drip from the cover. About a month ago I had to change the sliderblock because i snapped the front piece of it but it didnt start leaking until now. Do I need some type of sealant in the whole where that sliderblock goes? The boot that goes over the plastic piece outside seems to be fine...

Can anyone help me diagnose this leak? I dont know if this leak has anything to do with it but my ski was shutting off everytime I hit a wave at the beach so I had to go back to the marina quickly but my vts wires arent even connected. So I dont know why this was happening.

Vts....?

Where are those VTS wires? Have they been terminated? The water coming in? You said the boot was working fine. Then can you tell where the water is coming in from? If so, clean the surface really good and use silicone. Needs to be clean and dry before you put it on.

the VTS wires are sitting losely in front of the vts motor inside the sealed box. The leak is coming through the back of the vts motor where the motor teeth meet the worm screw which is supposed to turn when the vts motor is actually working...
