My low voltage light came on the last time my kids were riding my 96 SPX. They rode it all day with no issues and it wasn't until I noticed the light on at the end of the day that they said it was on the whole time. But they said the ski ran normal. The battery shows 12.8 VDC. Once started and giving it some throttle it went up to 16.5 VDC so I replaced the voltage regulator. Now the battery shows 12.8 VDC and once started and with throttle it sits nicely at 14.6 however, the battery low voltage light is still on. Since I have a spare I swapped out the battery to eliminate that. I received the same results with different battery. Could it simply be a faulty multi-function gauge? All the other functions of the gauge are working, just a solid battery light. Any way to test the gauge? Or is there something I'm missing? Charging system seems to be functioning correctly and voltages are all correct and within tolerances per the manual.

My memory is correct those had a tach a trim gauge and a speedo gauge.or does it have a info center.the red light I believe isn't a battery light it is a low oil and a over heat light.but it's been awhile since I've seen one of them

I have a trim gauge. Works fine. This has the multi-gauge. Fuel, oil, volts, temp. Everything works normal. Low volts light lit constantly.
