Took my ski's out this weekend. They both ran great for the first couple hours. Tons of wake jumping, 360's and flat out speed. After a tight turn 360 I seemd to lose power. Ski wouldn't even get up on a plane. Pulled it out of the water and took it home. Put it on the hose and it runs fine. Little rough on the idle but thats normal with this ski. Went back to the lake and backed it in. Barely starts and couldn't keep it running. Pulled it out and it fired right up, no hesitation on revs. Great throttle response. Backed it in and same thing. Won't hardly start and then dies. I have checked the jet and all is clear. HELP??? Going to Florida in two weeks and plan on taking both ski's.

check battery volts before starting and while its running (on the hose)..12v-ish before, 14v(+)ish while running...

Why would voltage make a difference. It turns over and starts in the water bu barely idles and then dies, almost like itsgot a restricted pump and the load of the water is killing it?

Whats the idle RPM in the water.

Sometimes the ski can be idling too low to start in the water. I've had that happen. Should be 3000 out of water and 1500 in I believe.

Definitely sounds like the load (being in water) is causing something.
