96 GSX hood question

how the heck do you open it up

There are 4 socket bolts in there and i took those off and it still wont come open. there are like 6 rivets right where the hindge is but i dont know how i would get those off and i shouldnt have to. how do you open the hood?

big...aint there latch above steer'n column/handle bar...

no im talking about opening the hood hood up. like to see the internal electril stuff. not the storage bin under it.

if you take out all the little tiny bolts holding the plastic sections together on the underside of the hatch it should seperate i dont believe you have to drill out the rivets.
