in 2005 i lent my gts to my cousin he got some water init and turned out some of the stator cover bolts wer loose and it got wet,so i tightended them up and started it and it ran fine till i went to rev it then it died and wouldnt start,so i checked the fuses and sure enough the 5 amp was blown.so i had it looked at and was told to replace the mpem 400.00 later same problem,so i replaced the stator and then it sat till a month ago,i replaced the flywheel and buttoned everything up and as soon as i hooked up the batt.it blew again so i replaced the regulator/rectifier and same thing,so i unhooked the stator and it still blows,i just can't believe that a brand new mpem could be bad.i havent started it or even put power to it since i put it in,please if anyone can help i'd be gratefull our summers are short here
