My 95xp was not running right so i started looked around and found two hoses that weren't connected to anything. One of them looks like it's torn and the other looks like it might be meant to be like that. Here is a pic. Wondering what they are for and if it could cause it not to run properly. Thanks!20210903_165345.jpg

Those other lines look like the grey fuel lines. Is that a broken oiler line by the pump? The orange tip one might be a broken barb connection on the carb. Take that air box off for a better look. Steal a mirror from your wife so you can peek around in there.

Get some purple power degreaser from tractor supply when you get it back together. It will clean up that engine compartment nicely.

I'll go take off the air box and take a look for the orange tip line but the black one I found out was the oiler line which was broken and I think I've been running it like that for a bit. Could that be the cause of it not running properly?

That supplies the 2stroke oil to lubricate the engine. it should attach below the intake and dribbles in and mixes with the gas vapor.

One of the more experienced guys will be able to help you with oiler line and possible damage that could have happened. Do not run it until they talk you through what to look for.

No oil usually means destruction,,,pull the plugs,,,see if you have gray(metal) on them,,gray means scored cylinders and pistons,,,.can you turn the crank easily by hand with the plugs out?,,,do a compression test,

I did a compression test idmeatianly and got 150 in each cylinder. The spark plugs looked a bit dark with no metal shaving and a bit a gas on them.
