951 throttle/idle issue

When the macine is idling and you give it throttle it dies instantly.

Need to give us more. Has the ski been sitting? When was the last time it cranked reliably? When was the last time you rebuilt carbs. Have you done any maintenance to it lately? Did you leave the gas over winter without stabilizer? Do you have the gray original hoses?

i rebuilt carbs around a year ago but never got the seadoo running right but this year it was running but still had the same issues. ive replaced all the fuel lines from the stock tempo lines. Also had a rebuilt engine put in cause the old engine was destroyed. It starts from cold after a couple cranks.

Did you use an OEM rebuild kit for the carbs, these carbs are real finicky. Did you do the pop off test and pressure test on the carbs? Did you set the low and high speed adjusters to factory?
Also, give us some info on what/how the engine was destroyed. It may give us clues to what is wrong.

I used oem kit and did pop off test. I havent set the carbs to factory. do you know where i can find the factory settings?

The engine broke a piston rod and had 2 holes in it. So I replaced jt wjth a sbt motor.

It’s turns out from closed. When your closing them don’t torque them in hard, just till they stop with very little torque
