951 difference

i would like to ask what are the main difference between the 98-2002 xpl 951 (silver engine) and the 97.5 gsxl 951 (white engine).i suppose they are the same since both are 951's but my friend told me the xpl 951 is better.

Sabr is the one to answer this, among others.
But the "white" they only made for about 1/2 year and then made several improvements beginning in 1998 for the "silver"

the '97.5 ate them selves, and were junk. I doubt that there are any real "White" 951's left.

Yes... the parts are interchangeable.
