951 carb kit

Does it matter which carb rebuild kit I buy? Do I need genuine Mikuni kits?

Always use genuine mikuni kits for the carbs. I've heard nothing but negative reviews on the aftermarket kits

its a good idea to replace the needles n seats also.make sure u test pop off pressure and holding pressure when u r done.

I totally agree with 97GtxMan. Use genuine Mikuni. The aftermarket kits are a heartache waiting to happen.

Thank you guys. Its temping when you see the whole kit w/needles, gaskets and all for less than just the basic kit with Mikuni, but I sure didn't wanna be turning it apart again!
