I have a 95 xp. The gas gage wont work. I know it has something to do with the magnets inside. But i cannot get the cylinder thing out of the tank to look and see if the magnets are still there. Any one have any ideas how to get that out? or do I have to take each tube out peace by peace?

the fuel baffle is on big piece with some small pieces inside of it. Remove the fuel lines going into it, label them so you remember where they go when you put back on. Should be a black rubber boot with hose clamp on it that holds the baffle to the tank, loosen the clamp and pull it out of the tank. Inside the baffle there will be a float with magnets on it that send levels to a circuit board.:cheers:
