95 XP won't rev

I have a 95 sea doo XP. That I am having a problem with. History; this is a new ski to me so I don’t know if this is an ongoing problem. it would run fine when it first started. But would not restart once it was stopped. It finely just stopped running. But the plugs still looked wet. The spark looks strong. I pulled the carbs and cleaned it out. The in-carb filters were quite dirty. But other than that it looked like it has had new gaskets recently.
I only had enough full line to replace the in feed (from the separator to carb) and pulse lines. I put an auto type inline fuel filter in to help prevent the carb filters from reclogging.
Now the motor will start but will not rev. It is acting like it is starving for full??? Any suggestions??
Thanks.

Welcome to the seadoo forum new2pwc. When you cleaned the carbs out did you use carb cleaner and clean out all the passages and journals? Did you set the Low Speed screw adjustment to "1 1/2", and the High at "0"? Be sure the fuel vent tube isn't plugged either.

Thank you for the welcome and quick response. I tried to clean all passages not to say that I didn’t miss something. I used a spray carb cleaner and a small bucket of sea-foam to soak various parts in. I set the low speed at just over 1 revolution out (this is where it was when I took the carb apart). The high speed was closed and opened as I tried to start the machine (and is closed now). I am not sure what/where the vent tube is? I did get more fuel line and intend to replace the remainder of the old grey stuff. And perhaps pull the carb apart again. With me not knowing the history of the machine, would you recommend cleaning out the fuel tank?

One more thing. For an unknown reason the oil injection has been disabled, and I don’t know if any parts are missing. Needless to say I have to mix the fuel. Are these systems problematic? Or do you think somebody just did not trust it?
Thanks again for any help.
Mike.

It's hard to say why the oil injector was disabled. It might have been seized if the pump stopped working...I'd do a compression test too, just to know what's going on inside. Soaking parts usually doesn't do anything. Blow out the passages and see how that goes. As far as the fuel, If you can siphon most of it out, use it in the lawnmower and use fresh in the seadoo. Just so you know it is good fuel.
