95 XP 800 jet pump

I’ve got a line on a 96 XP 800 rebuilt brass vein jet pump assembly with new impeller and wear ring. I’m wondering if this would work on my 95 XP 800 machine. Any input on whether this swap is a bolt and go kind of thing would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Pump is the same, just the driveshaft and pump spacer is different.

What needs to be done to swap?

On a 95 the pump has 3 orings instead of the 3 fittings that go through the hull

1995 break down od jet pump

You will need 3 of the #26 orings

1996 break down #27 #15 need to be removed and the orings installed in their place to use a 1996 pump on a 1995 also a fresh neoprene seal on the pump extension wouldn't hurt
