I have had three Checkmate Jetboats. Before that several Checkmate OB's.
This is the hardest boat I have ever tried to plane....what's up? I know I need to move the passenger(s) forward.

Is there a trim tab kit or something? Right engine hooks up better than left, but still not good.

If it is reving up and not taking off, it might need new wear rings.
Wear Ring clearance for your seadoo 1.0 mm or (.040in) Measure the clearance at the center of the impeller blades, with a 12” long gauge. Measure the clearance from the venturi side of the jet pump.

you have air leaking at the seal where the pump mounts to the hull. pull pumps-fat bead of silicone-reinstall. easy-cheap-quik fix. i changed wear rings. changed impellers. still horrible. sealed front of pump to hull, and it jumped right out of the water. 96 speedster.
