95 speedster restore.

Picked this project up couple months ago. It will be started on soon as I get my kawasaki x2 900 swap done. So anyways I picked up this 95 speedster fairly cheap. It is a big project. It has no seats. Gauges are waterlogged. Hood is missing the top scoop. Small hole in the bottom back of the hull. Everything looks stock other than a set of trim tabs mounted on the rear. All cables move very freely. One motor is fine. The other needs a top end rebuild.

Plans are to go thru it top bottom inside and out.

Fix hole in hull
add wake tower/Bimini.
Repaint hull (white and red)
new seats (red and charcoal)
Full turf kit (black white grey camo)
08 speedster decals
Media reader with tower speakers
Rear ladder for the kids
New gauges
Rebuild pumps
Rebuild carbs
New fuel lines
Clean tank
Premix

While look at the local Craigslist I found a sportster forsale with the tower/Bimini I want. But I can't fine one like it anywhere. I think it's a custom built one but maybe someone here has seen this style before.

I just bought two of these and saved one. I have a Sportster like the one in that pic also. The larger boats just have a different design on the Bimini top.

I have that top end for $150 shipped. It's a low hour SBT pistons, cylinders, and head.

It's not just a Bimini. It's a wake tower with Bimini.

The pics in post #2 are just a Bimini, no wake tower. Am I missing a photo?

I was thinking of putting a Bimini on my challenger 1800 sometime this year but think a wake tower with a combined Bimini would look better.

I'll agree to disagree on that.
Even if the blue bars were solid stainless I don't believe it would hold a wake boarder.

I contacted the owner of the boat about it and he said it was a wake tower with a Bimini built on to it.

Just going by what he said. I asked if that was a light or ball in the middle and he said it was a ball.

It's possible he don't know. Hell it could be a light and he doesn't have a clue. I dunno. If it was a tower and could handle the pulling of a wake boarder I would like it.

I haven't started on it yet. I'm an Sbt dealer so I'll order all my motor parts from there.

I noticed you need that hood scoop I have one from my 95 speedster that I no longer need because I swapped the hood out for a single gauge hood you can have it if you want just pay for shipping its painted over with purple krylon and has new stickers but the paint job isn't the greatest anyway shoot me a pm if you want it.
