I bought a 1995 Sea-doo Speedster last year. I don't need the fastest speedster out there but just want to be able to start it, keep it running and be able to cruise for a bit. I've had some problems I've listed below and need some advice on them if at all possible. Thank you in advance for all your time and help.

1) Over heating alarm constantly goes off when you go from high speed to any reduced speed. Previous owner said it always did this. Water flow out the back witness tubes appears weak to non existent at times and others good flow.
2) The boat had trouble planning but I read a thread about greasing the shafts which I did and for the few minutes with the engines running good seemed to plane fine. But not 100% sure this is the only problem.
3) The left engine smokes a little and seems to foul plugs although after recently adding new ones are a nice brown color. Recently while going about 3/4 throttle the engine would just cut out, maybe to overheating?
I checked compression on the good engine at 120 at each cylinder and the troubled engine at 100 at each cylinder.
