Well here’s my problem, I have a 1995 seadoo xp 717 motor. The pulse tube on the carb broke, so I replaced. Now the real problem, starts fine, idles fine, but when you get on the gas, engine wont tac up, till you turn off the gas. And almost run the carbs dry, then turn on the gas, and it will run like a bat out of hell. When you let off the throttle , or stop, you have to start all over with the gas shut off. Plus I had a full tank of gas, that seemed to vanish , checked for leaks, found none, nor did it smell like it was running rich. But before that pulse tube broke the $%@#$ run good , and good on gas. Anyone out there thank they can help!!

Diaphragm....
Check the pump on the pulse line carb (MAG). When that pulse line tube broke, which runs the fuel pump, you may have also broken the clear,plastic diaphragm, which means, the fuel is running into your engine, through the pulse line.
Take off that pulse line, see if there is any remnants of fuel in the line.
Runs like a bat out of hell when you shut the gas off because your leaning it out.
