Here is a good one, this isnt a complaint more of a question. I recenlty replaced my PTO, not too hard. While I had the motor out I did the oil in the pump. I also ran new grease through the needle bearing on the aft shaft.
With the old high performance PTO (very small) it used to idle at about 1600 on the hose. Now with the new stock PTO ( much bigger) , fresh grease and new pump oil it idles at about 2900 on the hose.
Is this right? Could fixing these things made that much of a difference? Can someone also give me a description of how to set the idle?
