Hi all, Thanks for your time.
Customer brought me a ski after installing an SBT motor and then taking it to another shop where they proceeded to replace the head gasket and stator assembly. Paid them $1400 and never got it running. Now I have it.

Here is the list of items that have been either replaced or swapped out for "known good part".

R= replaced S= swapped T=tested good
951 engine R
Wiring harnes R
Stator & pick-up R
Stator hub R checked for correct alignment on flywheel (I think)
coils T , I can swap leads (white wire)and get fire on one at a time.
flywheel R
MPEM S

No matter what I have done I can only get fire from one lead (white wire)from the MPEM. I am going nuts feel free to make suggestions I may or may not have tried it,, so please post away with ideas. Thanks

if it was the hub it would still fire just at the wrong time. last year one of my techs put a 785 hub on 180 out and it would start just wouldn't revup.

i would recheck or swap a startor or mpem, they could both cause it.

might wanna check into the stator assy. Possible( have read) that it needs the 2-coil pickup, or vise-versa. I'll double check, post what i find...
