Hi. First post on this forum 
Bought my first boat and first seadoo a couple of weeks ago.
Got a cheap Sportster LE year 2000 with a busted top end......and some other things(it was cheap
)
Anyway my idea is to fix this baby up so it looks a little more up to date. Paint the hull,new upholstry,decals,new hydroturfs,diy waketower,stereo etc. The bimini top was in real good condition and in blue so that´s the paint scheme I´m going to follow on the rest of the boat.
But first thing first. Parts for seadoos in general is hard to come by here in sweden so thank god for ebay
It has a 947-951 carb single engine. Was about to order a newly bored complete top end when I happend to read that there is two different versions - one "standard" and one "silver" engine. The ebay topend kit is for a gtx but I thought those engine was the same. says nothing about a silver engine. Anyone that can clearify this for a newbee?
