Kinda funny story had my girlfriend on one and I was on the other..
cruising around hers wouldnt go, I just got it dont know the history but is supposed to have one summer on the motor. any ideas? just bogs out no matter what throttle position.

We decide to double on the other one It was running real good .I had been tooling on it for 30-45 minutes before this .Start going np actually gain on some other skis out there when...

Dies just dies then we tip over hmmm she has no balance but damn .
I try to get back on but its halfway under wtf. We push it to a small rock cliff and what do you know a snake ... Great ! I hate snakes finally about an hour later we get some help but not before a thunderstorm came through .

Get it home and the only thing I found was the coupler on the rear part of the driveshaft was off . Was this my problem?

First I would give it a compression test, if good then I would install new spark plugs. and see if that helps. Chances are you may have the original gray fuel lines on these skis. If so I would replace them as they are defective. The inside of them break down and clog the internal fillters of the carbs. the carbs will need to be cleaned and I would allso replace all diaphrams and inlet needels and use the old springs. these skis should run very strong and fast. I have the same single engine in my boat it is twice as heavy as your pwc and with three people in it every one is suprised at how such a small engine can run so well in a boat. My engine has alot of high performance parts on it but I would think that the engine stock is bad to the bone in a pwc.

Oh yeah it suprised me and when we doubled today she was screaming.

2 people and half a ski of water we were still catching other pwc's in the lake.

I will get on those lines first thing, out of water its good . it was ridden in a pond by an 8 year old before I got it for a short time! Bad gas? had a full tank should have drained it but I didnt...too damn expensive to waste.

Well, at least you didn't do what we did our first time out. We ran out of gas...didn't know it (gas guage is broken) and spent 5 hours trying to figure out what was wrong with the thing.:stupid:

yeah true, but it was still not any fun on a bank with snakes and getting crashed into by alot of wake in a thunderstorm with a half sunken jet ski.
LOL what a day...
