94 xp 650 ran good but then starting loosing power and died. You can turn the engine over by hand but sometimes it will turn freely then start to get hard then stop and other times you can spin it over a 100 times and it will turn freely. i unhooked the drive shaft thinking it might be the prop bearings but it still did the same thing. any ideas????

What is the condition of the spark plugs? Did you do a compression check? If you need information on how to perform a compression check let us know and we'll get you on the right track. It sounds like it is something internal.
