Well last year the seal in the rear had holes in it so it wouldn't accel. good at all, and would bog down, So this week I Just had all new fuel lines, filters, plugs, battery and carb cleaned and the rubber seal in the back replaced. well took it out today to try it out, Had to choke it a couple times, started then would die out once i give it gas. Then it finally started fine and gave it gas and it took off real good, then after about 50-100 yards it just dies out, tried to start it , wont start ,and if it did start it would for a second or two then would die out again no matter if i gave it gas or let it idle. So had to swim it back in to shore, looked at the plugs, looked fine, let it sit for about 15-20 mins. tried it again, started first time, so i let it idle for about 15-30 seconds, then kind of give it gas and rev it up, and got on it full throttle, ran perfect again, for maybe 100-150 yards, then just did out again, kept trying to start it, never would start again, kept trying till the battery ran out of juice!! If any one has an idea what it could be, please respond!

Thanks Alot!!

Kenny

Kenny...go thru your fuel system again, check your filters, theres also filter in carb/s,...you replaced your seal, was timing set right? Also, cut plug wires back quarter inch from boots.

well i had a highly recommended seadoo mechanic change all the fuel hoses, and go through the carb, but guess i'll take it back to him!! What do you mean cut back the plug wires??

Thanks

Kenny

the ends, where the boots are, screw into the wires. After a while, they get pushed back/stop mak'n good connection causing a weak spark to the plugs.
Pull/twist off boots, then cut wire to expose new/clean copper wire in insulation, then reattach boots
