94 SPI How to...?

Just got my wife a 94 SeaDoo Spi to play with this summer. We have a couple of boats but last year we also had a jet ski that she loved. I didn't know how much she liked it until I sold it..OOPS. Never the less, while taking our boat to our dock this week I found a 94 SPI that was a pretty good deal so I picked it up for her. Problem is I know very little about SeaDoo. The person I got the ski from said it has set for 2 years after being winterized and he knew the battery was dead but knew nothing else about it. I got a new battery yesterday that I have charging now. I know there is a way to run water to the motor and start it like that, but I can't find the hose hook up? Anyone know where that is? Also, I know this ski mixes its own oil and gas, is there a specific oil that I should buy (I got Pennsoil Marine yesterday) will that work? Any input you have will help alot, thanks in advance and best wishes!

Congrats on your purchase. Seadoo recommends a certain kind of oil for their engines. The oil must have these requirements which were stated in the operators manual.
the oil must say High quality low ash API TC injection oil.
Never use 4-stroke petroleum or synthetic motor oil and never mix these with outboard motor oil.

Do not use NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils or other ashless type 2-stroke oil. Avoid mixing different brands of API TC oil as resulting chemical reaction may cause severe engine damage. If your oil that you have has any of these don't use it.

Seadoo brand oil is what is best for your engine.

As for the hose, on the back of the Seadoo near the jet pump there should be an adapter where you can hook a water hose to it. Always run it on the hose in this order. Start engine, turn on hose.
Turn off hose, turn off engine.
Dont let run for more 5 min though on the hose.:cheers:
